Please follow these steps in order to complete the AIA Pre-Participation Sports Physical Process.
All 4 of the steps to follow must be completed in their entirety before a student-athlete can participate in interscholastic sports at Salpointe Catholic High School.
Step 1 - Go to www.registermyathlete.com - create a profile for your student-athlete if you are new to Salpointe (incoming freshman or transfer student) or if you are returning to Salpointe, login to www.registermyathlete.com and register for the 23-24 school year and select the sports you plan on playing.
Step 2 - Athletic Physical - ALL Student-Athletes must have a current athletic physical performed by a medical doctor. The exam must take place after March 1, 2023 to be used for the 23-24 school year. It MUST be completed on the AIA Physical Form. Once you have completed the physical it must be uploaded to www.registermyathlete.com - HARD COPIES ARE NOT ACCEPTED FOR COMPLETION OF THE PROCESS

Step 3 - Brainbook/Opioid Education Course - This is a course developed by the AIA and every student-athlete must complete this course one time in high school. It must be completed prior to participating in any athletic activity prior to the 1st practice. Transfer students from out of state must complete this upon arrival to Salpointe. In-state transfers that did not participate in athletics at their prior school must also complete this course. Any in-state transfers that competed in a sport at their prior school should have this completed and we can get your certificate from your sending school.
**Those returners that have already completed the Brainbook Course - need to go back in https://aiaacademy.org/ and complete the Opioid Education Course for full approval - this is a requirement to be able to participate in Athletics.
- Go to https://aiaacademy.org/
- Register as a new student.
- Complete all of the areas of the Brainbook and Opioid Education course to receive the certificate.
- Once the test is completed you will receive a confirmation sheet stating that the test has
been completed, that certificate needs to be uploaded into www.registermyathlete.com
Step 4 - IMPACT Test - This test must be taken by Freshman and Juniors or every other year for transfers. This is a baseline concussion test that is required by Salpointe. The instructions for the IMPACT Test are as follows:
- To take the baseline test, go to: https://www.impacttestonline.com/testing/
- Click on “Launch Baseline Test”, then input customer code G7FFHDNMGZ.
- Make certain to select Salpointe Catholic High School when asked for “school/organization” in the demographic section.
- Answer EVERY question as accurately as possible.
- Your test results are not displayed once you are finished (all results are password protected). - - Print the test confirmation and upload it to www.registermyathlete.com
