Salpointe Catholic Women's Basketball is committed to the pursuit of excellence in academics and athletic performance.  We offer a college-preparatory experience in the classroom as well on the court.  Our primary objective is to provide student athletes

an opportunity to develop valuable life skills such as leadership, communication, accountability, teamwork, commitment to service, responsibility, and a strong work ethic.  

Our work is vital to the education and development of female athletes.  We provide student athletes the opportunities to develop real life skills and prepare themselves for college and the workforce.  Over 50% of our school's student enrollment are students of economic need and attend Salpointe with the hopes of building a brighter future for themselves and their families.  Our women’s basketball program mirror’s these statistics.   

Over the past 4 seasons we have been ranked top five in the entire state each year.  We have played in three state championship games, winning two of those state championships.  In that time span we have had nine former players go on to play college basketball.  Due to our success,  we have been invited to some very unique opportunities this season.  We will play four games in the Phoenix area, including a game at the Footprint Center home of the Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury.  We will be traveling to national tournaments in El Paso, Texas and Bishop Gorman High School  in Henderson, Nevada.  We have also been invited to Oahu Hawaii to participate in a three game competition versus three of the best teams from Hawaii.   

Your contribution will directly support our travel and equipment costs.  It will help support the students that are unable to afford travel expenses and it will help provide our program an opportunity to participate in some very unique experiences for female student athletes.  

 

Every dollar counts, and your support, no matter the size, brings us closer to our goal of $20,000. We understand that times are challenging, and any amount you can give is greatly appreciated.

Partnering with Salpointe exposes your business to thousands of Lancer fans throughout three sports seasons. Sports programs are mailed three times a year to our entire Salpointe community.  Which is a circulation of over 18,000.   We also offer advertisement signage in our sports facilities which house over 600 events every school year.
