Meet Tiny – A True Lancer

THE Story

Alma “Tiny” Nides Otero is a standout student-athlete, excelling in softball and basketball, and as a sophomore, she made the varsity basketball team. Tiny is known for her kindness, warmth, and incredible values. She is an exceptional teammate, coachable, and a strong student who inspires both her peers and educators. Tiny embodies the best of our school community.

In August 2025, Tiny suddenly became ill and, after a short period of tests, was diagnosed with leukemia. She began treatment in mid-August, and the journey has brought both challenges and financial strain to her family.

 

Let’s come together to support Tiny and the Nides-Otero family. Show your Lancer pride and help in this fight by purchasing a T-shirt for $20 or a hoodie for $35. Together, we are Mighty Tiny!
