Callahan made Salpointe Catholic the most feared team in 4A, averaging 16.4 points along with 4.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.Callahan helped the Lancers avenge last years championship game defeat to Chandler Seton Catholic with a 42-29 semifinal win.Then five days later she scored a team high 19points and grabbed 10 rebounds to beat flagstaff and lead Salpointe Catholic to its first ever state title!

After dropping last years championship game to seton, Luevano guided the lancers to their first ever title in just his second year at the helm.Luevanos team went 24-4 as he found the perfect combination of experience and fresh faces, using veterans like Kylee Callahan, Bria Medina and Tessa Hastings while also relying on heavily on freshman Taliyah Henderson, Hanah Williams and Jolee Nelson.
