Coach Tim Sonier was born in Elgin, IL and is an Official USA Basketball Youth Development Licensed Coach.  He has a Bachelors Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix and has been teaching elementary and middle school for 10 years.  In addition to teaching, Tim has also coached at nearly every level of basketball, from elementary to middle school and high school, for close to 10 years: 7 years at Dietz K-8 middle school, 3 years at Dodge middle school, 1 year at Catalina Magnet High School and 2 years at Sabino High School.  Tim is the father of 2 boys, Michael and Joshua.
